Pre War Lionel

The chassis is pushed up into the shell a bit. There is wear on the wheels & pickups. The pickups might not be the originals. There is surface rust and dirt residue in the axles, and on some of the wheels. The body shows scratches and dirt residue. The window inserts have yellowed or are coming loose. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Lionel 2623 Vintage O Prewar Lionel Lines Irvington Passenger Car. This is a Lionel 2623 Vintage O Prewar Lionel Lines Irvington Passenger Car from 1941-42. The 2623 was the ancestor of the better known Postwar Era 2625-28 Madison cars. It features a Tuscan painted bakelite body, interior illumination, stamped metal trucks, box couplers, and it measures approximately 15 inches in length.
