514 Lionel 226 Steam Locomotive 2226WX 12 Wheel Whistle Tender O Gauge Diecast

514 This loco runs forward, reverse and lights when using test wires. The paint has some scratches, along with dirt & grime. Worst of all, the cab’s lower cross brace that is just behind the trailing truck has broken off and is missing. I’ve owned this engine for over 25 years and only noticed this now when cropping these photos. The boiler front does not secure shut, is missing two green jewels and there is a little crack in the glass lens. The whistle tender is re-wired using super-flex wire and sounds good. The coupler solenoid clicks out when powered. The drew bar comes off easily and has a little bend to it. The tender is silver rubber stamped “2226WX”. The “X” appears to have been factory painted over in a failed attempt to cover it. The black color paint matches the tender frame black and I can feel the paints ridges.

33 NYCL LOCOMOTIVE ENGINE 0-4-0 STANDARD GAUGE PRE-WAR GREEN 1930s. Nice looking example of this engine. In good original shape. Heavy pre-war standard gauge model, well-made, working. Take a good look at the photos. These will show you it’s overall good shape. One end of the locomotive shell is a little loose and could use some tightening. Needs a bit of cleaning. This was part of my Father’s train set when he was a kid. The product is a Lionel No. 33 New York Central locomotive engine from the 1930s, designed in standard gauge with a 0-4-0 wheel configuration and a classic green color. This pre-war model is ready to go and features a three-rail system, making it a sought-after piece for collectors of model railroads and trains. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! We Do Not Accept Offers. Stand That measures 9″ Long x 4″ Wide x 2 1/4 Tall. Boat that measures 16 3/4″ Stern to Bow x 4 3/4″ Wide x. 4 3/4 Tall on Stand. There is a cleat missing on the starboard bow. We are not the original owners, this may have been restored at one point. We cannot guarantee that the passengers are original to the piece, they do appear to be of the period however the condition of them is too good. The Way this item looks in photos is how we received it. The stand and boat have some paint loss and finish wear consistent with age.
