Missing one tiny screw on one side of locomotive cab holding one side of the cab to the wooden base… You can see this in the pictures… Does not affect display or operation and could be easily replaced. Lionel Prewar 1688 / 1689T Gray “Torpedo” Steam Locomotive. Tested and runs nice. Looks complete and nice and shiny gray. Clean piece but has some marks. It is graded on its appearance only. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. Check out my other items.
Includes #3814 Merchandise car in brown with white lettering, correct original box, original instruction sheet, and 5 original Baby Ruth Merchandise cubes. All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The car is in beautiful condition with gorgeous clean paint that displays great and shows very little wear with no scratches and just a a couple tiny flea bite nicks. All trim is intact, including all internal components. It has not been tested. The box is nice and square with all flaps! One end flap is loose as seen. The original instruction sheet is nice with some folds. Please examine photos as they are the best description. If you are looking for a condition example of this car, this is for you!
