This number was produced 1924-32, but I think this one dates to the mid to late 1920s. It is a model of the Milwaukee Road Bi-Polar type electric. O love that rounded look on the ends. Lionel made this engine in different colors and combos. Dark olive green version. Manual reverse lever, one side. With the brass handrails. Tested and runs, reverses. Small dent on roof, pictured. The brass number/nameplates and handrails appear original. Green paint seems original to me, as you can see some wear spots and oxidation. You can be the judge by enlarging the pictures. Lionel Prewar New York Central 158 engine refurbished, serviced see video Antique

Found this one in need of lots of help. Needed a lot of work. Need taken apart, cleaned, re-wired, remove dents, strip and repainted shell. Serviced tested and see video of it running. Everything was polished and cleaned. It was totally refurbished and restored the shell and frame, new dummy light, Lot of work but runs and looks great now. Color is Dk Green. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10+ hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. Plus I usually put Fifty to one Hundred ++ dollars in refurbished or new parts. They are almost impossible to find anymore. And are not cheap. Sometimes less sometimes more. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. Even the new parts do not fit and have to be modified. SEE VIDEO OF IT RUNNING. Thank you for looking You will get the engine you see! If more I will pay. Going to the West coast always cost more.

Lionel Prewar Two Tone Green #9E 2-4-2 Electric Locomotive Reproduction with Lionel’Build A Motor’ in Original Box. Instructions and Pamphlets are included too but I think they are reproductions. In my opinion the two tone green Girard colors are the most attractive of the colors the 9e was produced in and the’Build A Motor’ is more desirable than the’Super Motor’ variation. This shows very minor evidence of having been run and is excellent condition. I will pack the original box in an outer box. I will include EXTRA Bulbs. Two last closes ups at the end show were it was touched up on the bottom. Minimal signs of use and having been run. For sale is a vintage 1963 Lionel Post War Flat Car with Sterling Rocket #6407, featuring a red flatcar and a red, white, and blue rocket. This was produced in 1963 only, on a RED No. The Rocket has a Blue Capsule (Variation A) and it does not have the rare pencil sharpener. A Crack is noticeable on the capsule. See picture for details. This O gauge model is ready to go and pre-built, measuring 11 inches in length. This would make a great addition to any train or toy collection.
