For sale is a Scarce Lionel Prewar Blue Streak set. The set is good shape, the vestibules show the expected wear. The locomotive appears to have been repainted but it runs well and the whistle works great l. The boxes are not in good shape at all. Thank you for looking and I hope we can do business. The trains seem to have normal wheel wear. The locomotive has some light paint wear but for the most part is in decent condition for it’s age. This engine is a olive green color and possible older repaint. The top will need to be tightened up on one side on bottom both corners see pictures. A K4 Pacific steam locomotive outfitted in a legendary aerodynamic casing styled by famed industrial designer [Raymond Loewy]. Lionel manufactured this die-cast O gauge model from. Units manufactured between 1936 and 1938 feature a gunmetal gray finish. Models produced between 1939 and 1940 were finished in satin black, matching the version displayed in your image. Prominently displays “PENNSYLVANIA” along the side skirts, the “238” model number beneath the cab window, and a matching sheet metal “waffle top” tender.
