Lionel Pre War 10E Standard Gauge Locomotive-KD-98

The trains seem to have normal wheel wear. The locomotive has some light paint wear but for the most part is in decent condition for it’s age. This engine is a olive green color and possible older repaint. The top will need to be tightened up on one side on bottom both corners see pictures. The locomotive was bench tested and did function when tested. The lights worked when tested. Powered by SixBit’s eCommerce Solution.

Lionel Type UTC Universal Lockon. I couldn’t get the engine to operate.

Lionel Prewar O Tinplate Black PRR 238 Torpedo Steam Locomotive 265W Tender SS

Lionel pre-war O gauge Model 238 “Pennsylvania Torpedo” steam locomotive and matching tender. Modeled directly after the real-world. A K4 Pacific steam locomotive outfitted in a legendary aerodynamic casing styled by famed industrial designer [Raymond Loewy]. Lionel manufactured this die-cast O gauge model from. Units manufactured between 1936 and 1938 feature a gunmetal gray finish. Models produced between 1939 and 1940 were finished in satin black, matching the version displayed in your image. Prominently displays “PENNSYLVANIA” along the side skirts, the “238” model number beneath the cab window, and a matching sheet metal “waffle top” tender. This analog control system transformer, made in the United States by Lionel, has a wattage of 150W and operates at 110V. Lionel produced the Type K transformer from 1913 to 1938. This type I version with the slate top was offered by Lionel from 1913 to 1917. This baby weighs a lot!
