Bought it but had much work on the engine, wheels. Vintage/Antique Lionel 152 Prewar 0-4-0 Electric engine. The 152 Engines runs only in one direction forward. Later they added a manual switch with rod out the front to run both directions and called it a 153. You only run then one way anyway. I when over this engine and re-painted the shell and frame. Clear coat over engine to protect the decals and paint. Good wheels and wire. Runs slow to fast speed. See last pictures of it running. Lubed, Over 90 years old. I went over it and serviced it. Repaired and replaced what was needed to make it like it is. Runs, Serviced, Very nice runner, lubed, try to used most original parts and cleaned them up, Check out the pictures. This type engine runs in one directions. See pictures for best description. I replaced the wires and clean it. Bench tested it and it ran strong. Ead light that work. I price these items for what I have in them. Hardly ever charge for labor because its my hobby to bring them back to life. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-14 hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. I added some new pictures. Didn’t like the other ones in the sun. These show the set color better. Engine runs great and all lights work. See last 3 pictures of it running. Antique Vintage Lionel 80+ years old. One of the few left I had just finished restoring. I just finish going over it. It wasn’t running and missing some part. The engine was in terrible shape. Tender looks original and close in color. Most original parts cleaned and used. Had to replace some others. One of the best I heard. I serviced it, Some new parts, Some new wires, Has the. Reveres and works great. I test ran it for 15 Min. Added the missing parts and serviced it. I have a 263 WT to go with it. Tested the whistle and it worked. Running out of engines and tenders.
