Lionel O gage Locomotive Set. Loco is 1689E 2-4-2 and matching tender with 4 passenger cars 33 pieces of track and 2 turnouts and transformer. 2-4-2 Locomotive with Tender. Light in the front turns on but could not get the wheels to turn under power. Drive wheels turn freely by hand. Includes 4 passenger cars. 10 pcs of straight track. 1 pcs of straight terminal track for connecting power. 20 pcs of turns. 1 Lionel transformer (has voltage but may not be showing the correct output). Some Oxidation on most parts. Especially the track and one side of the Loco. Some track pieces are missing the connector prongs on the end of the track.

PREWAR LIONEL 1684 STEAMER WITH 1689T TENDER. Lionel offered the 1684 only from 1941 – 1942. This is the Type II in black, the Type I was gun metal. This vintage locomotive I’ve not seen it run in many years; but it was a treasured piece. These were the last manufactured by Lionel before the war 1940’s. These items are used, previously played with, and show evidence thereof. The locomotive has not been track or bench tested. Listing includes Locomotive w/tender, 6 model train cars, 4 appear to be LIONEL. Some train cars are metal while others are plastic. Some appear vintage American Flyer (2) while others appear to be post war. Largest piece measures approx 9.5 inches long 3 inches tall. Each piece has evidence of wear, needs cleaning, some parts may be missing. The locomotive is in good condition for it’s age, but still shows surface wear, paint cuffs, dust in tight crevices, rusting, scratches, etc. Parts may be broken or missing from this listing as mentionedabove.
