HTF LIGHTED Lionel Prewar Semi Scale Diecast New York Central Caboose 2957 with road #N. Caboose is in good condition, especially considering it’s age. Some minor damage and blemishes on the paint. One side lamp is broken off and some slight bending of some of the wires. Please review photos carefully. All pre-owned train items are cleaned and if appropriate, lubricated with Labelle products. Minor repair, reattachment and/or replacement may be done to broken or missing parts. Any repair/restoration by me to items considered collectible will be noted in detail. Lionel semi scale prewar diecast tank car. The paint on this car is amazing! The diecast frame is laser straight! The only fault I have with it is the Shell decal on one side has flaked off badly. Still displays nicely though.

Nice untouched original 2956 from 1940-42. It is complete with no broken parts. The end tab on one bottom hatch door is bent, All 4 hatches are slightly bowed but look to seal ok. All 4 hatches operate. The plates the trucks mount to and the hatches show some whitish/grayish coloring. The car body has a warp to it as shown in the pictures along with a straight edge ruler. I have not cleaned anything. Couplers complete but untested. With a gentle cleaning this would display very well.

This prewar semi-scale beauty is a Type 1 2955 Tank Car. This version was only made in 1940. It is like new except for a tiny piece of decal missing on one side. There is a close up that shows this. The trivial defect is only mentioned for accuracy. Still it is an exemplary example.
