Late variation of 262E loco and tender, made mid 1930s for uncataloged sets. Loco is original satin black with all nickel trim, guessing it was made 1936 from nickel-rim black wheels. L&T are original/complete, there is some wear/flaking 1 side of frame and on pilot, otherwise light edge wear to finish. There are minor corrosion spots on trim and rods. All castings are solid and complete including wheels and pilot teeth. It ran sluggish and reversed, light worked when bench tested, got better with some lube and exercise. Matching sheet-metal enameled tender is a 262T or 261T. Hard to find uncataloged special. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed. We do not guarantee coupler operation. 10 enameled satin-black loco has a metal cab/boiler, diecast frame, cylinders and boiler-front. It has all nickel trim, made mid 1930s for uncataloged sets. Frame is an original casting, has pilot with no repairs and shows factory casting marks, but has less wear than balance, so is possibly restored, balance is original. Motor tried to run, but E-unit reverse is erratic, did get better with use, may just need cleaning. Loco only in listing. Hard to find late/uncataloged version of this loco. All Items, including N.
