Enameled metal New Haven type electric on 8.75 frame. It has original peacock finish with orange stripe at bottom edge, usually means a SPECIAL, possibly Macy. Finish is clean, has some wear, mostly edges as shown, brass trim, orange stripe matches orange windows. Headlight castings are replacement, probably some new wiring, disc-type wheels look like solid/clean originals. Motor has a 3-position E-unit reverse unit, no “E” stamped or on plates, so it probably has been added. There is no E-unit shut-off switch, but loco ran/reversed fine, lights worked when bench tested. Must sell as is, due to age. Not technically correct, but all Lionel parts, runs and looks fine, and an uncataloged variation! All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Uncataloged 3-unit streamliner, probably made 1935 has smooth sides and roofs on cars, silver-aluminum painted finish, light red diecast top on power car. Includes 616W power car, has an early type diecast whistle reversible motor and headlight, 617 center coach and 618 tail car. It has most wear on vestibules from car ends scraping as usual. 616 power car is best condition, some edge wear and moderate wear on original red top casting. Center car is in least condition, has wear and some corrosion 1 side. Tail car has some wear, mostly edges and top, light corrosion at some seams. A scarce, uncataloged set, made 1 year only. Diecast 10.25 long 4-4-2 Streamlined PRR Torpedo loco is 1940 uncataloged version. It is matte black with chrome/nickel trim and rods, has all black drive wheels and number plates with no E. Loco made for uncataloged sets, is missing the name plate on pick-up, has some wear/minor corrosion spots on handrails and side rods, Original finish has light edge wear, mostly on pilot and cab rear-floor, very light dirt, nice chrome plates. Diecast streamlined PRR Torpedo loco with enameled metal whistle tender, made 1940 for uncataloged sets. Original and near-complete, loco missing ID plate on original pick-up, also no eccentric rods, body-mount holes look like it may have never had them. Trim is chrome-nickel, some wear on railings, black finish looks VG++, just light edge and detail wear. Matching tender has auto coupler, whistle is rewired. Loco ran/reversed/light worked, tender coupler opened and whistle worked a bit raspy, should improve with lube. Just noticed 1 wire railing missing at cab doors. All Items, including N.
