Lionel Prewar Terracotta Passenger Car Set. Here is a Passenger Car Set from Steve’s Train City in Minnesota. Ction is for a Lionel Prewar Passenger Car Set made in the 1926 – 1932 era. Included are three cars, two #529 Pullman Cars and a #530 Observation. They are Terracotta cars with Cream Trim, Maroon Frames and have the harder to find Copper Journals. All the cars match in condition with just minor nicks and have some paint fade on one side. None have rust but the doors have been pushed in by a youngster along the way and have to be straightened. THIS CAR HAS TWO ROTATING BRASS SEARCHLIGHTS RESTING ON AN ELEVATED TERRACOTTA BASE, ENCLOSED ALONG EACH SIDE BY TWO BRASS HANDRAILS. THE CAR IS ENTIRELY ORIGINAL AND WELL-PRESERVED. THE PAINT AND OVERALL APPEARANCE ARE EXCEPTIONAL (PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES). THIS ITEM ALSO COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL BOX. IT IS COMPLETE, BUT HAS AGE WEAR. THERE IS TAPE ON THE END FLAPS, AND TWO INNER FLAPS ARE MISSING ON ONE END. THE SEARCHLIGHTS WERE NOT WORKING WHEN TESTED.
