205 Post War O Gauge Alco FA Diesel A-A Pair with one powered and one non powered locomotive from 1957-58. The powered unit has dual axle magnetraction, a three-position reverse unit, and an operating headlight. Both units have fixed couplers. Both are in particularly good plus condition and the cowlings under the couplers are original without any cracks. Both units have been thoroughly cleaned, and the powered unit has been fully serviced, lubricated, and they have both been track tested. They run extremely well and look great on the layout or on the shelf.

Loco motor has been professionally cleaned and lubricated and runs and reverses like new. Headlight and firebox glow light both work. Everything appears to be original except for the ornamental whistle which is a modern replacement part. One corner of the cab roof has had a small area repainted (see closeup photo). The tender whistle unit has been cleaned and lubricated and the original brittle wiring replaces with rubber covered Superflex wire. The drawbar is a modern repro part. The box coupler has been repaired and probably was not original to this tender. The tender body appears to have been repainted and relettered with dry transfer lettering a long time ago. Overall, the loco looks and runs great and would be a great “runner” for any Prewar layout. Grades C-6 Very Good or better by Train Collectors Assn. My TCA number is 86-23651.
