Lionel 256 Prewar O-Gauge Elec. With rubber stamped lettering made 1924-30. Both motor pickups are missing 1 roller. Normal play wear, nicks, scratches. Ran good, lights flickered occasionally. 1940 variation of 8.75 enameled metal boxcar with automatic couplers is orange with black stamped lettering, Tuscan brown guides and roof, black trim, dished frame, high-step auto couplers. Car is as is, due to some issues. It has a top/center brace installed, causing some distortion to top edge of body that is hidden by roof and some side wrinkles. Roof is restored, shows minor dings under finish. Body to frame tabs have been bent, but are all complete. 1 brake-wheel and rod are replacements, other is original, brake-wheel re-attached. Finish has wear, heaviest at edges, more wear and light corrosion on edges of frame. Far from perfect, but is presentable and very collectible. All Items, including N. (new-old-stock), are graded and represented as vintage collectibles. Operational ability and characteristics or completeness of vintage motors, mechanisms, wiring, bulbs etc are not guaranteed.
