LOT of 2 Lionel Junior STREAMLINE Coach Passenger Cars MARKED “LIONEL” PRE-WAR manufactured around 1937. In excellent condition little sings of wea with slight loss of orange paint. I have taken shots of all sides and bottoms. The Lionel 1701 streamline passenger coach’s are prewar Lionel Junior train cars that often features a red or orange and silver color scheme. Details about the Lionel 1701 streamline passenger coach. Material: The bodies were made of stamped metal, often finished in a combination of chrome/silver and painted liveries, such as the orange color seen on the ends of these coach cars. Color Variation: The cars is typically part of a set featuring “Hiawatha Orange” (or red and silver/chrome) colors. Set Composition: It usually comes in a 3-car or 4-car set, including a 1700E power car (locomotive), one or more 1701 coaches, and a 1702 observation car. VINTAGE PREWAR LIONEL JUNIOR MODEL 1700 STREAMLINER for REPAIR or PARTS F. You are looking at a “black dial” Zenith tombstone. The interesting element of this particular radio is the size which offers the superior properties of other Zenith models with a smaller size. The radio displays beautifully with a quality cabinet and a nice top luster. There were a couple of tiny repairs made on the back edge of the cabinet which are virtually invisible. This vintage Lionel Prewar Red & Chrome Junior Streamliner Passenger Set is a must-have for any model railroad enthusiast. The set includes four passenger cars, each with a length of 12 inches and a width of 3.25 inches. The cars feature a 3-Rail-3-Conductor rail system, analog control system, and live steam power type. The set is a replica of the Advanced Passenger Train (APT) and is painted in the iconic red and chrome colors of the Lionel Jr 1700E corporate roadname. The cars are made of pressed steel and steel materials and have a scale of 1:48. The set comes ready to go or pre-built and is in a C-6 Very Good grade. This is a great addition to any collection and perfect for those who love transportation-themed models. It has been rewired and E-unit Rebuilt could use a light cleaning. There are very few chips in red paint and only a couple small places in the chrome that have any light scratches or maybe a quarter inch rust spot so it has been taken care of through all these years. I have more of these but I have to rebuild the E-units on them and some of them are a Grey color. This is the better one.

Engine runs good in both directions and light. Drive gear was replaced, unit was rebuilt. The cars have brown roof. All cars and engine have paint missing. New couplers were installed, Nothing broken See PhotosSold as is.

This item for sale is a prewar Lionel Junior Train set 1070W with box and boxes as shown. The set has some light wear, wheels could be missing in front of the engine and it is untested. The wheels do move freely by hand on the engine. All other cars and tender appear to be in very good condition. There are boxes for all the cars and engine, some boxes have flaps missing but overall boxes 85-90% complete and in very good condition.
