Here is a gorgeous condition example of this prewar Lionel standard gauge accessory set. All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The pieces are all excellent showing light wear with a few small nicks. They have all trim intact. This is the earlier color version of the set. The box is an absolute brick with all pieces intact. Includes #3814 Merchandise car in brown with white lettering, correct original box, original instruction sheet, and 5 original Baby Ruth Merchandise cubes. All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The car is in beautiful condition with gorgeous clean paint that displays great and shows very little wear with no scratches and just a a couple tiny flea bite nicks. All trim is intact, including all internal components. It has not been tested. The box is nice and square with all flaps! One end flap is loose as seen. Beautiful High-Grade Lionel Original Prewar BOXED Set #239E. If you are looking for an investment grade example of a desirable set, this is it! This set produced 1931-33, was Lionel’s largest in O-Gauge, making it very scarce to find all complete boxed, let alone in this condition! Includes #260E Loco, #260T Tender, both in black with green frames, #812 Gondola, #813 Cattle Car, #814 Boxcar, #815 Tank Car, #817 Caboose, all the original boxes, minus the #812 and #814 boxes, the scarce correct original set box, original instructions, and original loco flags. All pieces are all original with no touchup or repaint ever. The loco is amazing, clean crisp paint with virtually no wear, one of the best we have seen. It has all original wheels, and runs great both directions, and the lights work. The tender and all 5 cars are also beautiful, with little to no wear throughout, as good as it gets.
