Beautiful original Lionel No. 318 electric locomotive in the highly desirable bright apple green finish. This locomotive retains excellentpaint with attractive brass trim, original “LIONEL” and “318” nameplates, and presents exceptionally well for its age. The body is clean with only light cosmetic wear, including a few minor paint nicks and scratches consistent with age and careful storage. Handrails, trim, and details appear complete and straight. Lionel 224E gunmetal finish prewar locomotive & 1689W tender. Nice clean original loco. I have been running this on my layout, and it runs great FNR all function properly, including the headlight. There is some spotting on the paint typical of this paint. She is a real beauty. The 1689W tender is in great condition also, and pairs nice with the 224E loco. The whistle works fine. There may be small areas of oxidation on either one. The motors and whistles I list are serviced, ready to install and enjoy.
