Vintage Lionel Hard to Find Green hand car features a fun Disney design missing the Mickey and Minnie Mouse figures. Only their shoes are present. It is a prewar era item that was made in the United States. I believe The scale is 1:100 and the gauge is O based on what I’ve read. This item comes with a replacement clock key that fits the winding for the spring. This does wind tightly and runs but I hear no bell. Please see the photos and video for more details.

This is the famous and hard to find Lionel Mickey Mouse Circus Set from 1935 with the stoker tender and the Barker Mickey figure, often missing. This set was released in 1935 as a bell-ringing wind-up steam circus train. The engine has not been tested. One side of the cars is really nice and the other side shows more significant wear, but if these are on the shelf, only one side matters. 1508 Commodore Vanderbilt Jr wind-up locomotive. 1509 Stoker tender with Mickey fireman figure. Featuring many Disney characters including Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Clown, Mickey, Minnie and others. 1536 Calliope Band Car. Featuring The Three Little Pigs, Donald Duck, and Mickey and Minnie. With an elephant among other animals as well as Mickey and Minnie. This engine is a wind-up with a bell that clangs as it goes around the track. It also has a headlight. It has NOT been tested, and it has one chipped wheel, so if you intend to run, you will want to work on it. The metal body shows wear and oxidation, perhas some surface rust. There is no key, but the key is available reproduction. The tender has nice lithography. The fireman Mickey figure shows some wear as pictured, but he is complete and in place. The stoker device works, as you can push it and make Mockey shovel that coal. When in operation, of course, when the stocker lever hits the ties, it makes Mickey work harder. The Diner looks nice on all sides except one where it shows significant wear. The Calliope band looks nice on all sides except one where it shows significant wear. Everybody has a RED one… Extra nice and complete Mickey Minnie windup handcar. Great for any antique or toy collector. Seems to work as it should when tested but not guaranteed. Seems all original (no repainting or touch-up) except for the replaced legs; which may be a good thing as a toy with crumbling fragile 80 year old legs may not be a good thing; especially if the toy is handled or demonstrated. Green version is much harder to find that the red version. This toy worked fine when just tested but could use some oil as at first it needed some help to get going. I will leave the oiling to the new owner as well as a good cleaning; but toy is very clean as shown. HAS THE TAILS, THE HAT; RUN ALL YOU WANT AS LEGS ARE NEW AND NOT BRITTLE RUBBER AS MOST EXAMPLES OF THIS WONDERFUL TOY. This toy, regardless of it’s value among antiques, will be the highlight of any collection because of the continuing popularity of the subject matter. This toy has had some minor cosmetic repair. This, IMHO, is a good thing as if the toy is handled and run on a track the new legs will allow this activity without crumbling as the originals might have done. There is no return on this item unless mis-represented. Great display item for any collection or all by itself as the only antique in the cabinet.
