Here is a Lionel 265 Vintage O Prewar Blue Streak Set w/617 618 619 from 1935-40. A unique-looking engine, the 265 headed up several of Lionel’s most popular sets in the mid and late 1930s. The locomotive features metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, metal side rods and metal wheels. The tender features tinplate construction, a solenoid box coupler, tinplate trucks with black journals and metal wheels. Signs of play wear, scratches, minor paint loss. Small dents, minor rust. Extremely difficult to find a matching set of Original 2-tone blue 6 wheel truck O gauge passengers that are not restored. Very beautiful finish with small amount of scratches. Please look at photos so you can see how nice the roofs and ends are. A few obvious play scratches but overall very very nice matching set! Don’t let these go!
