Enameled metal suburban style “Lionel City” station, is late variation 124-style, made mid to late 1930’s. Station is 13.5 x 9.25″ at base, about 10″ to top of chimneys. Station is original tan with ivory-white windows and doors, buff trim, light red roof, 45N light green base. It has an automatic train-control stop mechanism inside plus an interior light and 2 exterior silver-finish decorative lights. Hanging sign and Waiting Room signs are aluminum, 1 has tarnish spots, also has paper destination boards. Station looks clean, but has some dirt in details/seams, some loose dirt inside. It has light wear to finish, should be EX if you give it a light cleaning. Bulb fits loose in 1 exterior fixture. A nice looking example. Original box has complete flaps, is dated 1939, has some dirt/stains and writing as shown. Box was opened at label end, the label has wear and some loss in 1 corner. All Items, including N.
