Lionel 229 Prewar Steam Outfit 138W. Up for sale is a Lionel 229 prewar passenger outfit 138W. Set is all in very nice condition. The 229 runs well in both directions, e unit cycles fine. One replacement green jewel, very clean side rods. The O2689W tender is nice and clean, one minor corner bend with chipped paint, whistle does work. The 2640 and 2641 cars have great paint with few scratches on the roofs and great lettering. Lights work, one bulb is dim, probably the wrong bulb.
