This train was part of my late grandfathers train collection. He would often go to train shows looking for uniqie pieces to complete his set or add to his collection. He would put them in display cases or packed away with care taking excellent care of them. I have little knowledge on these trains but will answer any questions that I can. Please refer to photos for condition. Doors are missing from ends of trains, however, both doors are present on the sides of both train cars. Beautiful original Lionel No. 318 electric locomotive in the highly desirable bright apple green finish. This locomotive retains excellentpaint with attractive brass trim, original “LIONEL” and “318” nameplates, and presents exceptionally well for its age. The body is clean with only light cosmetic wear, including a few minor paint nicks and scratches consistent with age and careful storage. Handrails, trim, and details appear complete and straight.
