Complete all original, no rust, no missing parts, may show effects of being on display and/or age, may have been run. All original minute scratches and paint nicks, no rust and no missing parts. No distortion of component parts. Minor scratches and paint nicks, minor spots of surface rust, free of dents. May have minor parts replaced. GOOD – Sign of play wear with scratches and minor paint loss. Small dents, minor surface rust. Evidence of heavy use. FAIR – Scratched, moderate paint loss, dented missing parts, surface rust. Lionel Prewar Standard Gauge Two Tone Green State Cars with the original boxes. The cars have very few nicks or scratches but are in very nice condition!!!! All four cars have nothing missing inside. All toilets and chairs are present. From what I can see from the pickups, these cars were barely used!!!!! There are no dents on the roofs. All labels are present. Some of the couplers are bent but can easily be bent back slowly. One of the grabrails is loose so please keep that in mind. All of the casted journals are intact with no pieces missing. The back deck is slightly out of line but can easily be fixed! No rust on any of the cars!!! The boxes are a bit rough but they are very sturdy. Some of them are missing flaps. I don’t know if the cars light up but the wiring seems to be ok. These cars are one of the nicest I’ve seen in a while and would look fantastic with a nice 381e locomotive!! You will not find nicer cars than these especially with the original boxes! This will be a heavy box!!!!! Sorry, no PO boxes accepted. Lionel Prewar Standard gauge 3 car version state set!!!!! This is not a reproduction! This is the real deal set made around 1929/1930!!!! This set is in pretty nice condition for its age!!!!!! Some scratches and nicks throughout the set but the majority of it is in the roofs of the cars. Some dents on the California car but nothing major. There maybe dents on the other roofs as well but its hard to tell. No major parts missing throughout the set!! All the chairs and bathrooms are all inside the cars. The locomotive has some tabs missing from someone many years ago replacing one of the pantographs with a reproduction. The other one is an original. Locomotive has great paint with no dents or heavy scratches. Some of the truck wheels have cracks on them but may need to be replaced later on. Car roofs open without any problems. I was told that the locomotive has been serviced so I will say that it runs with working lights inside the cars. The ends of the cars have no damage on them. Some of the windows have fogged up a bit. Overall, an extraordinary set to add to any standard gauge collection!!!!! This is considered the biggest set Lionel ever made!! One box for the cars (very large box), and the other box for the locomotive. Sorry, no PO boxes accepted. Vintage Lionel prewar Standard gauge two tone brown state cars in original condition!!!! Now this is something you will not ever find on here! I will start off by saying that these are not reproductions!! Some scratches here and there and very little rust spots on the cars. The only thing that’s missing are some of the chairs inside the cars which you can still find and some handrails on the sides of the doors. I will include the ones that popped off. My suspicion about one of the roofs are it MAY have been repainted but you be the judge of that. Little to no dents on the roofs as shown in one picture. There may be touchups on the cars but its really hard to tell when I was looking at them earlier. One of the buttons has pushed back into the car which may be fixable. I has these for many years and its time for someone else to enjoy them. There will be 2 boxes since I cannot fit all 4 of them in one box. These will be insured.
