This is a Lionel 717 O Prewar New York Central Caboose – Reproduction. This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item is missing marker lights and catwalk is starting to warp. The window inserts also show a few small dents from internal components poking them. Hand railings are also bent and show paint chips. Wheels show light signs of wear from previous use. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. This is the scale caboose designed for use with the famous 700E Hudson. This caboose features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles, and a resin shell. It operates on Lionel T-Rail 3-Rail track and has an interior light. This appears to be an Ed Kramer reproduction. Condition: Restored – Fair. A non-professional restoration: Color, texture and finish clearly different from the original.
