A Lionel/Ives 10e set you don’t see often!! This particular set came around 1930 but what I find unusual but rare is the shell has a orange stripe around the body which I have never seen before!! This set has its normal scratches and wear. Unfortunately, the baggage car is missing but the box for it is included! I have not tested the engine but looks like the pickups on the underside have been replaced with reproductions. One car coupler is broken but can be fixed.
