If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-14 hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. This is a Red Comet Lionel 260 set. I restored it and like it so much I keep it on my shelf. Slowly trying to sell everything in the next few years. Trains runs great and all lights work. See several pictures of it running. Antique Vintage Lionel 80+ years old made to be like new but not quite. Has the 4 wheel truck wheels on the tender. See pictures of it running. Has 260 matching tender. I try to save as many original parts as possible and clean them up. Otherwise replace with new stock. Has good wheels and it has a good working old style Lionel e-unit pendent type that was used. New trucks and pick ups. I bought this engine and it need parts that were missing. I replace what was needed and fix what need fixed. Went over the motor mostly new single strand cloth wires etc. Some side rods missing. Needed a lot of work, had missing parts on engine. It was cleaned and re-stored then serviced.. Tried to keep everything original as I could. Engine and matching tender. I rewired what was needed,, points, lot of hours to get it to run right. Installed missing parts, Service, repaired. Tried to use as many original parts that I had. The missing parts were replace with old stock and new stock I had on hand. Very nice running or displaying set. You will enjoy it. It is 80 YEARS OLD, Its not NEW but looks it. Great Lionel Vintage/Antique set. If you are expecting new this is not for you. It is a 80 year old. I tested it and ran great forward and reverse. So ask questions and look at the pictures. See pictures for this is the best description. I will answer the best I can.
