The 250 was made prior to the 252. Same shell and motor. But no reversing switch and no hole in top of cab for switch lever. Much rarer than 252 but only runs in forward but that’s all you need anyway. If my price seems high I want you to know that I usually put 6-10 hours of labor restoring it to the condition it is at now. If you want one cheaper you may have to repair it and its costly. I price them for what I have in them. I list them for what I have in them. This is a hobby to bring the oldies back to life since they are my age. This engine came to me with a nice cab and motor needing repairs, plus missing parts. It is over 90+ years old. I did restore the frame & cab. Then cleaned all the original parts that I could. I replaced what was needed. New wires brushes if need etc. It is lubed serviced and bench tested. Ran engine on oval track for 10 min. The 250 came before the 252 later version and they added a reversing switch and change number to 252. What you see you will receive.
